
Coaching
El coaching is a collaborative process that helps people achieve their personal and professional goals. It focuses on improving customer self-awareness, identify their strengths and weaknesses, set objectives and develop strategies to achieve them. Unlike traditional therapy, which tends to focus on healing past wounds and addressing mental health issues, coaching is future and growth oriented.
There are several types of coaching, among them:
- Life Coaching: helps people in their personal development, to reconcile work and family life and to achieve their life goals.
- Executive coaching: aims to improve leadership skills, performance and professional growth of executives and leaders.
- Career counseling: assists individuals in career planning, job search and professional development.
- Health and wellness coaching: focuses on improving healthy behaviors, fitness and overall well-being.
Coaches use a variety of techniques and tools, such as motivational interviewing, goal setting and cognitive-behavioral strategies, to support clients on their journey. The relationship between coach and client is based on trust, responsibility and mutual respect.
